Spirit Duck Chests
When you are knocked out of a round you can fly on as a spirit duck. Chests dress that duck. Here is exactly what is in them and how they drop.
How chests drop
- A chest can drop at the end of any match you played on a team (watching as a spectator does not count): a Rusty Duck Chest after a match against bots, a Spirit Duck Chest after a match with other players and bots, a Gilded Duck Chest after a match with no bots at all. Sitting in the menu never drops anything.
- Only the Gilded chest can roll Rare, Epic, Ultra Rare or Legendary. The Rusty chest is almost always a Normal skin.
- You bank 45 minutes of play per chest, and at most 3 chests a week in all: bot, mixed and all-human matches share the same 3. Steam keeps that count, not the game.
- Opening a chest is free. It rolls one skin from the table below; duplicates are possible.
- Skins are cosmetic only. Nothing in a chest changes how the game plays.
- Chests and skins are not tradable or marketable yet. If that changes, this page will say so first.
Odds by rarity
Each chest rolls a rarity with these chances, then one skin of that rarity at random. These are the exact weights Steam rolls with, out of 100,000,000 per chest type.
